This site was just started on January 21st of 2012 with the domain bought on my birthday, January 19th.
GRAPHIC ADVERTISING:
I am offering a special right now for my 125 x 125 ads. I have up to 6 slots available at the introductory price of $12.00 per month! Yes, I am serious! If you want one of the slots, please simply send me an email with “ad inquiry” in the subject and the number of months you want, your AP address, and your site URL. You will also need to provide a 125 x 125 ad, but that can be sent after I have approved your site.
TAKE NOTE: I will only accept site, product, and company ads that have to do with cooking!
PRODUCT PLACEMENT:
I will accept product consideration for inclusion on this site. I prefer NOT to have giveaways here, as I don’t want it to be that kind of website. However, if it is the right item I may consider it. That means, if you are offering my readers a new stove or some other “high dollar” item, I am sure we can work something out. LOL! I do like product placement items, though!
So, if you have a product that you want me to consider for inclusion on Southern Mom Cooks, please send your pitch to me via email. Be sure to include all relevant information like images, website links, social media links, where to buy, pricing, etc.
To help you understand the type of things I will accept on their site:
- Food items
- Cookbooks
- Kitchen tools, utensils, and appliances
- Spices
- Aprons, pot holders, and other kitchen cloth.
- Pots and Pans
- Knives and knife sharpeners
- Kitchen cleaning tools <- must be interesting and unique!
- Kitchen rugs, curtains, and other kitchen décor
- Fridge, freezer, or pantry organizational items

I am accepting guest posts on a very limited basis. Your post must be a kid friendly, mom approved recipe, include a really good picture, and not be listed anywhere else online. It must not be product specific! This is for cookbook authors and website owners only!
