As a southerner, football has always been an important part of my life… from homecoming games at LSU to box seats at Auburn to watching my brother play at the middle and high school levels to being a cheerleader for both those levels. I continued the Football tradition by marrying a Football (and Baseball) Coach and having 3 boys! My oldest boy is now at the Middle school level so that means more sitting in the stands yelling my head off.
I LOVE it and the only thing that makes it better is all the AMAZING food to be had.
What is it about a Football stadium that makes a plain hamburger or Nachos taste so much better? Let’s not forget all the yummies that we make for Tailgating and catching the big game at home.
With SNICKERS(R) Brand NFL Minis which are sold exclusively at Walmart, (#SNICKERSMinis ) I tried some new brownies. OH! EM! GEE! Yeah, they are fabulous! The caramel crystalized into a crunchy chewy yumminess.
NFL SNICKERS Brownies
Ingredients:
- Box of Brownies
- Oil, Water, and Eggs according to box
- 1 bag of SNICKERS Minis (I made a double batch which is why you see more eggs in my image)
Directions:
Follow the directions on the box. However, I found that I needed to cook my brownies a bit longer that recommended.
Add approximately 1 cup of chopped SNICKERS Minis. I simply cut each square into fourths.
Allow the kids to clean the tools. ![]()
Cook according to directions, then allow to completely cool. Once cool, add a layer of icing for extra yumminess!
