So, you decided to get all Susie Homemaker last night and made biscuits from a recipe you found online. Unfortunately, the recipe didn’t make a bunch of sense as it called for ingredients and never told you when to use those ingredients (in the directions). So, you decided, “Hey! I am a good cook, I can do this!” Next thing you know, you have 10 little rocks.
What do you do with these rocks besides throw them at the squirrels that are eating your pecans or turn it into a science project to see if the rocks sink or swim?
It is actually quite simple!
Since the biscuits I made the other night, I actually added some Garlic to, I had cheesy garlic buttermilk rocks.
I couldn’t stand the idea of throwing them out, I threw them into my food chopper and made bread crumbs. Into a Ziploc baggie they went with “Cheesy Garlic Breadcrumbs” written on the bag. Next time I make something that calls for bread crumbs, I can just pull out my bag!
Problem Solved!
What do you do with rock biscuits?

Lol…. this made me laugh, happens to all of us, right?! And I LOVE your idea! I never thought of doing that! Next time this happens (although I hope it doesn’t!) I’ll try doing this! Thanks for the idea!
Great tip! I’ll have to do this next time I have little rocks!
I’ve got a bag full of blue cheese rocks in my freezer. That’d make an awesome bread crumb for some chicken! Thanks for the tip!
p.s.- found you through WFMW
I had to do that the other day. I was making bread and I guess my house was too cold or something but my loaf of bread came out like a brick. Now I have loads of delicious breadcrumbs.
LOl, I never have trouble with rock hard biscuits. Being gluten-free, we mostly have crumbly biscuits.
They still make good bread crumbs though!
